5th Period: Si Se Puede & Academic Letters

Your client: Cesar Chavez School

Purpose: A program cover for both the Si Se Puede Scholarship Night and the Academic Excellence Letter evening.

These are both celebrations of academic honors and student achievements.

The Si Se Puede awards program is a senior celebration of their success in classes and with college acceptance and scholarships. Info is read about the student’s as well as their scholarships to universities or wherever they are going.

The Academic Excellence Letter evening is a night set aside to recognize the academic achievements made by students at Cesar Chavez High School.

Both will be:

SIZE: 5.5 X 8.5
RESOLUTION: 300

MOOD-STYLE: This is an elegant event that should be represented as such.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. This is a single side program. You are only designing the front.

3. Both of these covers must include some sort of visual art addition that is created by you, for this work. This could be a photograph that YOU take, or a collage of many photos. If you choose to use photos, think about what you are taking photos of and how it relates or adds to your design. You could take photos and then turn them into paintbrushes, then using photoshop you could create an artistic visual combining them. You could even create an artistic visual only using photoshop and nothing else. It will be your choice. Just make sure whatever you choose corresponds with your overall design.

5. Do not put ANY type within 1/4 inch of any edge.

6. No images will be taken from the Internet.

7. Optional: School colors? Do you think it important? Mascot? If you choose to include a Pegasus make sure to include one from around campus.
