3rd Period: Senior Portfolio Show Program

(Notice the before and after program covers. The top was the final draft. Notice how the gradient helps pop the letters forward. Notice the change of position, size, font of the words make it easier to read and nicer to look at.)

Your client: Cesar Chavez School

Purpose: A program cover for the Senior Portfolio Show to be given out the night of.

SIZE: 11 X 8.5
RESOLUTION: 300
MOOD-STYLE: This is an evening set aside to celebrate the accomplishments and the work the seniors have done throughout their high school career. The seniors dress their best and many people come to support.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. This is a double cover design which means that you will be designing the front and back on one sheet. The front page is on the right, the back on the left. (this could be one continuous design, or two separate)

2. FRONT Cover must include:

3. BACK Cover must include:
Cover Design by ___________
(Be discreet. Your name is NOT the emphasis. Make it clear, but quiet)

4. Your graphic design must include some sort of visual art addition that is created by you, for this work. This could be a photograph that YOU take, or a collage of many photos. If you choose to use photos, think about what you are taking photos of and how it relates or adds to your design. You could take photos and then turn them into paintbrushes, then using photoshop you could create an artistic visual combining them. You could even create an artistic visual only using photoshop and nothing else. It will be your choice. Just make sure whatever you choose corresponds with your overall design.

5. Do not put ANY type within 1/4 inch of any edge.

6. No images will be taken from the Internet.

7. Optional: School colors? Do you think it important? Mascot? If you choose to include a Pegasus make sure to include one from around campus.

8. Read the "GRAPHIC DESIGN POST" for final instructions.
