To get into surrealism we have done 2 tutorials to help us start thinking surrealistically, and also technically going over little tips and tricks to make our Photoshop artwork better. Layer masks and gradients become important when softening edges and adding color; Drop shadows create a more realistic environment since they are so intregal to our reality. Hopefully these tutorials helped remind you what you already know, but also open your minds up to the scope of details you need to be aware of when painting in photoshop.
